It's summer -- the perfect time to give your patio door a tune-up.

¨     Clean the track and the channel. Vacuum, then wash it with household cleaner. Spray the tracks with a little furniture polish.

¨     Check to see that the roller height is correct. If the door scrapes or binds, you can fix if with just a few turns of the adjusting screw. If the door still doesn't glide smoothly, remove it and replace the rollers.
