| Don't replace a two-slot receptacle with a three-slot model
unless you know the wiring system is grounded. Three-slot types in an
ungrounded system don't provide adequate grounding protection and can
mislead future occupants and electricians performing repairs. If you are not
sure whether your system is grounded, check with an electrician. |
